I just finished watching Taiyou no Uta / Midnight Sun / A song of the Sun. Watch here. Actually leh, this story is like sibeh sad loh. The girl aledi sick liao, night only can come out, then she get boyflen, but later still die leh! Dam kao sad lah ok? T_T
In fact, the storyline was really quite sad T_T Most people commented on how they cried, how saddening,heartbreaking,asskickin,headshakin and emo this movie isT___T
Like any other saddening, touching, cry making, ass kicking, head shaking, heartbreaking movies, its about some girl with some incurable illness and eventually dies =_=
You'll find yourself listening to her songs A LOT in this movie. And thanks to the awkward, unnecessary silences this movie is like 2 hours O_O with 30 mins looking at them staring at each other?
Thing is, I find that this movie is quite saddening cuz YUI was acting as the girl =D YUI kawaii desu neh~

If you ever finished this song, which i doubt it, you'll hear her singing the chorus --- "I went to fry whale~! I went to fry whales~~~" Heartbreaking isn't it? This is the part where she intends to tell the people that she could not afford takoyakis and therefore fried whales for lunch T_T
